The HTRAC system works by monitoring 50 vehicle inputs over 100 times per second in order to calculate the amount of torque required for each wheel. If slippage is detected the HTRAC system reroutes power between the front and rear axles and applies slight breaking pressure to the left and right wheels to maintain traction control.
